I removed the filter assembly and replaced it with a new one. Its was a simple matter of gently popping off the bottom washer arm. Next I removed the visible screws, then rotated the piping that goes up the back (to get it out of the way). That made removing the entire filter assembly very simple. Dropped in the new filter assembly and re-installed.
