Gallery series dishwasher originally had a code i40 meaning a clogged filter. The filter was very bad and after cleaning it a code i20 appeared and the washer would not finish it's cycle. After reading the posts of this problem I found that a clogged pressure sensor can cause this code. There were some that removed and cleaned the sensor, some replaced the sensor and both methods solved the problem. I ordered a new sensor which was reasonably priced and when it arrived I decided to try cleaning the sensor without taking it out. I found the little hole near the drain where the sensor mounts and put a pipe cleaner inside to loosen any debris and then used a turkey baster to force water inside to flush it out, the dirt that came out was unbelievable.
Problem solved!
I did not have to remove the sensor or install the new one, however I will be keeping the new sensor because I'm sure this will happen again and the next time I may not be so lucky.
The price I paid for the sensor is small compared to the wealth of knowledge available on APP thanks to the collective experiences of all that have had this problem and help afforded by APP.
Thank You,
George
