Kenneth T Vineland , NJ April 24, 2017 If yor fridgidaire dishwasher is showing an i30 error code do not assume there is a leak I had to pull and clean the pressure sensor switch four times in a year. Each time more gunk accumulated. When that happens the sensor does not close the water valve. The dishawsher keeps filling and the water comes out through the overfill port. The water then goes in the catch basin under the washer and floats the emergency switch. This cuts off the water but keeps the pump running just in case. Tripping the circuit breaker is only a temp fix. What happens is the water level may have gone down a little and released the cutoff switch. When you turn it back on the whole system resets. But the problem is not fixed. You have to replace the pressure sensor. The new setup is improved. Gunk can,t get in the sensor any more. Spend the $60 bucks and fix it right. George S Brookfield , IL December 26, 2018 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher FGID2474QF0A Frigidare dishwasher code i20. Gallery series dishwasher originally had a code i40 meaning a clogged filter. The filter was very bad and after cleaning it a code i20 appeared and the washer would not finish it's cycle. After reading the posts of this problem I found that a clogged pressure sensor can cause this code. There were some that removed and cleaned the sensor, some replaced the sensor and both methods solved the problem. I ordered a new sensor which was reasonably priced and when it arrived I decided to try cleaning the sensor without taking it out. I found the little hole near the drain where the sensor mounts and put a pipe cleaner inside to loosen any debris and then used a turkey baster to force water inside to flush it out, the dirt that came out was unbelievable. Problem solved! I did not have to remove the sensor or install the new one, however I will be keeping the new sensor because I'm sure this will happen again and the next time I may not be so lucky. The price I paid for the sensor is small compared to the wealth of knowledge available on APP thanks to the collective experiences of all that have had this problem and help afforded by APP. Daniel T Dryden , NY October 27, 2018 Appliance: Model FRID2474QF0B Frigidaire gallery series I10 I20 & I30 error codes After reviewing a few blogs it was clear that Frigidaire is knows there is a problem. One of the blogs recommended AppliancePartsPros.com for a new pressure sensor switch and a water inlet valve. Ordered the part and it was shipped that day, as promised. Pulled the dishwasher out (which was the hardest part of the repair). The pressure sensor switch is a changed out with a small flat blade screw driver to release two snap clips. The inlet valve is changed out with three screws and on hose clamp. Once the parts were in place the dishwasher is working as it should.
