I ordered a new diode and a new magnetron. Took the under-the-cabinet microwave down and repaired it using my tools and meter. It took approx. 30 minutes to fix, not including the take down and re-install part. Worked like a charm after that. I am an experienced electrician, so I can safely say that it would be more difficult with someone with no experience.
