Ordered Impeller and Shaft Seal Kit which came overnight. Easy to put in after watching the video. While installing I found that Inlet Sump was ripped and ordered the part which came overnight. Trickier to install but thought it went well. Even though Shaft Seal probably was not the problem it did need replacing. Got it put back together and water would come into the dishwasher but it would not start and pump the water to wash. Called Tech Support and got some answers but did not have time to try suggestions which were to take the machine back out and check connections. The wife called a repairman before I could try that.
The repairman came and showed me how hard it was to turn the motor so he will put in a new motor. I have no idea why the motor would go bad.
Allow time to;
-Take the machine out
-Find blankets or towels to use on the floor to turn the machine upside down for ease of repair.
-Get stuff out of the way underneath the sink to reach fill and drain connections.
-Have towels or pan to put underdrain and fill lines to catch water.
-If you have a single-handle faucet the cold water can back feed through the hot water feed and leak. I had to get a cap for the hot water feed.
-You will probably want to clean the floor under the machine when you take it out.
-Our dishwasher had some screens partially clogged with a white filmy material. Could be from labels or the plastic from soap pods or........? It was hard to scrape off and get it all.
-When taking the dishwasher out be careful to look for shims and where they go to make reinstall easier.
Everything considered, all went very well with the parts and instructions from AppliancePartsPros.com and I would not only use them again but I will recommend them.
