Kristy B Mapleton , UT May 09, 2015 The heat diffuser had goop on it that kept getting on the clothes when i dried them First we replaced the heat diffuser by just unscrewing the 3 screws and replacing the part. When the dryer was turned back on we realized that it was not put on properly. We looked up how to replace a diffuser on the net and then realized you need to take out the drum to replace it. That was challenging and time consuming but we did get it fixed. 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours
