Mark H Grafton , MA April 03, 2020 Appliance: Model LG DRYER No heat. I ordered five parts not knowing which part was the problem I just replaced all since I was taking dryer apart anyway. Replaced high temp thermostat, thermostat, thermistor, and both moisture sensors. Fairly smooth deconstruction after watching how to videos a couple times. Struggled a small bit with disconnecting some of the circuit plugs because they had never been disconnected before but overall not too hard. Kept things organized by using sticky notes with all the metal screws as I went through each piece of machinery removed. After removing all of the parts needed to get to circuits. The inside of unit had a lot of lint built up all over. Cleaning that up took the most time of all. I washed and dried all pieces that could be put in sink and vacuumed and wiped all of other pieces with a damp rag. Took at least 1.5 hours to clean everything well. Put all new circuits in and reassembled unit in about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Reattached exhaust tube and tested unit works great like new. Save huge money just took about 1/2 day to get it all done correctly. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours
