Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam. I recommend if you gave a problem with the ice dispenser you break down and inspect the entire assembly un the ice bin. this will save you a lot of time. in the midst of all this the drive motor burned out as well. bottom line I rebuilt the crusher back to front starting at the drive motor the only parts not replaced were the bin itself and the crusher blades. if you are mechanically inclined this is no big deal. when it comes to assembly use your camera on your phone to take pics of wiring and orientation of crusher blades for quick reference .
