Discovered water had trickled into the ice bin, the motor had frozen solid. Disassembled, removed the motor and thawed with a hairdryer. drained water from the motor housing. Thankfully it still worked. Found auger shaft badly rusted, coupling very worn, and driveshaft seal is worn. Replaced all three and re-assembled. So far it's working great!
