I changed the filter since it had been a long time since last being installed. Still no ice. I used a hair dryer to warm the water line entering the top of the ice maker in case it was frozen. Still no ice. I then ordered and replaced the water inlet valve. Still no ice. I then ordered and installed the ice maker motor module by following the replacement video that was provided when I ordered the part. After the wiring harness was reattached I heard the tray begin to fill with water. We now have ice.
Both times I ordered parts they arrived the following day. By following the videos I was able to complete this repair with little difficulty.
