Steve S Roanoke , IN February 12, 2023 Appliance: Model ED2SHAXMB11 Icemaking stopped. Wiggled the thermostat knob and the compressor came back on. Lead me to believe the Cold Control unit was faulty. Chose to replace both ends: New Thermostat, Run Capacitor, and Compressor start kit. Worked well except some of the part numbers need to be cross-referenced online as some get upgraded with a new part number. The instructions/labels don't reflect the new part numbers.
