I also noticed one of the two water recirculation outlets near the front door was no longer spraying water.
When I took it all apart, I found that these two tub water recirculation outlets are both connected to the pump.. one was clogged.
The impeller on the drain pump was no longer spinning with the motor.. looks like it was worn on the inside.. when I took the pump apart it was full of scale. I could have just ordered the motor...but I figured I would replace the entire assembly as I also noticed scale build up on the motor rubber o-rings.
Because I have my dryer stacked on the washer.. and it's in a small laundry room, I didn't want to take a chance and have to potentially do this repair twice. So I decided to replace the entire pump housing.
The repair went very smooth.
I rate the repair on the high side only because I have the dryer stacked on the washer. Getting the dryer down from the washer was the hardest part of the repair for me due to the size of the laundry room.
