Justin L Magnolia , TX March 15, 2014 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF6810ST Lg Dishwasher Ldf6810st / Asteeus: LE Error during wash cycle. Happens 1:40 mins into normal wash. How to replace Sump And Motor Assembly. Replaced Motor pump assembly. The pump assembly was slightly different. One of the wire plug ins was located in different area and clips that secure unit in place had to be slightly modified to fit new assembly. I also repaired two wires in the door that although were not the cause of the Error.Insulation was broken and wires were exposed. So I cut and repaired insulation with heat shrink and used crimps to re-connect wires. Whilst front of door off Noticed seal in bottom of door packed with powder detergent probably overloaded when used by previous owner. Cleaned it out this stopped water dripping from sides of door during wash. Also some rust stains inside door traced to steam vent leaking at seal. Will order Vent Part Number: AP4441313 To repair. After removing old part and cleaning rust and debris from rim. Hardest part of replacing motor assembly was keeping seal in place whilst clipping new part in. I seated two clips and used a flat blade screw driver to pry last clip into place verifying seal was flush from inside of dishwasher. Cables were easy no two the same. Also took a quick picture for reference just incase. Placed paper towel in front of dishwasher during first two tests to make sure no leaks. Then checked leveling and secured dishwasher back in place. 10 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours
