Justin L Magnolia , TX March 15, 2014 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF6810ST LE Error during wash cycle. Happens 1:40 mins into normal wash Replaced Motor pump assembly. The pump assembly was slightly different. One of the wire plug ins was located in different area and clips that secure unit in place had to be slightly modified to fit new assembly. I also repaired two wires in the door that although were not the cause of the Error.Insulation was broken and wires were exposed. So I cut and repaired insulation with heat shrink and used crimps to re-connect wires. Whilst front of door off Noticed seal in bottom of door packed with powder detergent probably overloaded when used by previous owner. Cleaned it out this stopped water dripping from sides of door during wash. Also some rust stains inside door traced to steam vent leaking at seal. Will order Vent Part Number: AP4441313 To repair. After removing old part and cleaning rust and debris from rim. Hardest part of replacing motor assembly was keeping seal in place whilst clipping new part in. I seated two clips and used a flat blade screw driver to pry last clip into place verifying seal was flush from inside of dishwasher. Cables were easy no two the same. Also took a quick picture for reference just incase. Placed paper towel in front of dishwasher during first two tests to make sure no leaks. Then checked leveling and secured dishwasher back in place. Michael G Ware , MA April 12, 2021 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDS5811ST-01 Dishwasher was not draining or cleaning properly. I bought the new sump assembly, watched a few YouTube's on how to replace it and it worked out well. Inspect the item when you do get it. My part had one broken retainer tab but still decided to use it. I planned on 2 hours but the removal of the dishwasher tool more time and I finished in about 3 hours. Ran a small rinse cycle first and it worked out well then did a full load and that went well also. Check for leaks often and listen for the sound that it makes to make sure it is cycling and pumping the water like it should. The fix was easy but took longer than expected and is a much better option than buying a new dishwasher. Dan S Harrison , OH July 22, 2023 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF6810ST-00 Le error code. Replaced the complete sump pump unit. The new part was a close match to my original. One sensor was in on the opposite side than the original but with some rerouting of the wiring I was able to hook it up. I rated this difficult as the original brackets did require some modification.
