My husband followed the YouTube video and made the repair. I helped him hold the wire while he connected the spring as it was difficult to stretch the spring while holding the wire in place. We called an appliance store to make the repair, but they refused to work on the Maytag Neptune. We have had a good experience with our Maytag Neptune washer and dryer, so after watching the video, we decided to make the repair ourselves. I am thrilled that the part arrived so quickly and the repair was relatively easy! Thank you for the quick service and especially for the repair video. I think I saved at least $1200 as I was thinking about purchasing a whole new set and now that is not necessary. We are happy customers!!
