I had previously replaced the transmission in my two year old Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine. Overall it was in good shape but gets heavy use. That repair was approximately $200 and worked for several months. Recently it began leaking. At first I thought it was the tub-to-shaft seal. I replaced this part but it was still leaking. It turns out it was the simplest of things... The drain hose was not connected very well! I replaced the drain hose ($11 part) and while I was at it I replaced the water panel (which had stripped threads from numerous taking fill hoses off and on). Everything about this Whirlpool machine is easy to fix. AppliancePartsPros makes it simple with easy-to-find, affordable parts and helpful instructional videos. I was prepared to spend $600 to replace this washer but for less than half of that I think I'm good to go for many more years.
