Jeffrey M Medina , OH November 15, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WTW5600XW0 Leaking water I had previously replaced the transmission in my two year old Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine. Overall it was in good shape but gets heavy use. That repair was approximately $200 and worked for several months. Recently it began leaking. At first I thought it was the tub-to-shaft seal. I replaced this part but it was still leaking. It turns out it was the simplest of things... The drain hose was not connected very well! I replaced the drain hose ($11 part) and while I was at it I replaced the water panel (which had stripped threads from numerous taking fill hoses off and on).
