Some buttons seemed to work, others didn't. Bottom line, washer wouldn't run. This part doesn't include the control board which needed to be transferred to the new front panel assembly. As I did so I feared that the problem may have been on that instead of this part. Gladly, the new front panel assembly fixed the problem. The hardest part was getting the controller board out of the plastic clips on the old assembly. I ended up using two table knives wedged in the gap to flatten the clips. BTW, You need to look carefully at how the ribbon connector plugs in. One pin is outside the connector so you can plug the new one in with a one pin offset. You'll need a small torx driver (I think it was a #20) and there was also one 1/4 inch hex screw. All and all, it was an easy repair. The cost of it sure beat a service call or replacing a 600.00 machine
