Made checks on brushes, to see how much wear on carbon and springs. Found one side almost gone, the other only aliittle longer. But still should of gotten some action or spark when starting. So next check was the end bel for the switching contacts. Found when starting leaver was moved only the board would float back and fourth onthe spring tention. Black wire (hot) wasen't going anywhere with power...the contact was not making good connection, also dirty and pitted. Barnished withight sand paper to clean. Adjusted screw untill contact made with lever 2nd run position. Ordered parts, installed and have mixer back making dough.
