Michael L Santa Ana , CA December 26, 2015 Appliance: Model BASIC KITCHENAIDE MIXER 20 +year maintenance Checked out You tube video. Easy tune up. One gasket was damaged and I did not notice that the brush holders has no brushes. I believe a quick call to Appliance parts pros will fix this, besides I need a few more parts. Travis K Melbourne , FL May 28, 2020 Appliance: Model KSM90 - KITCHENAID MIXER Would not turn on failed carbon brushes replaced motor parts. It went from repair to redo/customize quickly. As the mixer was old, but had sentimental value. I completely took apart the kitchen aid mixer. I took the case pieces to a powder coated for a new purple coating. As this was being done I decided to purchase new motor parts as the mixer is older and was at times struggling. I disassembled the mixer one year prior to powder coating. When it came time to assemble and ‘fix’ I really needed the videos on here to help guide me to make sure everything was put back in correctly for it to work like new. And I can say that is exactly how it works! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
