Robert T Palm Beach Gardens , FL October 13, 2014 Appliance: Model KENMORE 790.9661 Oven temperature was not consistant and varied at the same setting I replaced the probe which is a thermocouple. Naturally the connector was different from the one on the stove so I cut off the connector on the old probe and soldered it to the new probe. The cleaning of the wires and soldering them was the most time consuming activity of the repair.
