Followed the advise of the 70-year old gentleman who fixed his dryer. Followed his instructions and worked great. Didn't even remove door from dryer. Used flat head screw driver to gradually remove door then removed old latch with a "metric hex key". Installed new piece, secured screws, and placed door back on dryer. Worked great. Thanks again to the on-line posters.
