Donna H Glendora , CA July 13, 2015 Appliance: Model WTA3510US Broken door latch 10 year old dryer Removed the door by placing head of small flathead screwdriver on seam at corner of door and gently drawing it along seam on top edge. The seam opened immediately. Then I ran head of screwdriver down the side and removed door opening side seam. Using Allen wrench, I removed screws holding latch in place. I saved at least a couple weeks doing this myself rather than hassling the apartment super and waiting on two trips by the building custodian. Didn't even remove door from dryer. Used flat head screw driver to gradually remove door then removed old latch with a "metric hex key". Installed new piece, secured screws, and placed door back on dryer. Worked great. Thanks again to the on-line posters.
