First I have an LG French Door with a bottom freezer. It quit cooling. I went on line and watched some very informative You Tube videos. I trouble shot according to these videos. In these videos it shows that if there is a click coming off the compressor it has too meanings, the compressor is froze or the start relay is bad. I ohmed the compressor and had no open wires in the compressor. I then shook the relay and it was making noise. The videos stated that is there is a noise in the relay it is bad. I found appliancepartspros.com online and found the parts I needed. They sent them to me in 1.7 days. Great service. I received the right, but wrong parts. Right because they matched the on line parts diagram but wrong because they were not for the compressor that was installed. My LG had a Embraco compressor. Doing a little research on line I found what I needed on E Bay. I took those part numbers to AppliancePartsPros.com and they had the parts. They refunded me for the wrong parts and sent me the right parts. Again I received the new parts in 1.7 days. I plugged in the new start relay (Controller Tsd) and run capacitor on the compressor. I plugged in the refrigerator and held my breath. The fridge clicked on then the compressor started up. If this would have not worked, I was looking at replacing my compressor. All told, I spent less then $70 to fix my fridge. This was made possible by AppliancePartsPros.com. Thanks guys. One happy camper here! BIG TIP: See what compressor you have in the fridge. LG in the same model put different compressors in this fridge. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THIS OUTFIT. GREAT TURNAROUND ON PARTS ORDERING. KEEP IT UP.
