The refrigerator just stopped running one day. Looked online for repair advice and some pointed to the defrost timer. I knew the evaporator fan and motor were probably also in need of replacement due to the noise they made when running previously so I replaced them. And for good measure, I also replaced the cold control too. Swapped everything out by watching the how-to videos here, put it all back together, and plugged the fridge back in. Then I waited, and waited, and waited. The old thing took its sweet time starting back up, but after a few hours, I noticed it was running again and cooling properly!! Huzzah! So glad it wasn't an issue with the compressor or evaporator. The only complaint I have is with the shipping being awful. They almost always have shipping delays lately and it took 6 days to get all the parts. Otherwise, a great experience, and would purchase again from this site.
