Bob R Fair Oaks Ranch , TX March 25, 2017 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG RS267LABP/XAA Refrigerator section only cooling to 50 degrees freezer section ok First thought it was the fan because it was making a noise so replaced it. Removing the inside covers showed coils all frozen so decided the "defrost sensor" must be bad. Since AppliancePartsPro has no problem with returns, I also ordered the main board.....that would be the only other possibility. Turns out the "defrost sensor" was the problem. During the first 24 hours when things were getting back in sync, we had some water come out on the floor during the first defrost cycle, so I recommend placing a towel in the lower section of the refrigerator for the first 24 hours. The original fan noise was apparently due to the ice build up & not a bad fan. I'm keeping the fan rather than putting the original back. Still saved at least $250, & good support from AppliancePartssPros.. Their coil cleaning brush works really well too. 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
