E K Yacolt , WA July 13, 2015 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG Fridge was warm but freezer was cold fridge said it was 34 deg f but was around 60 deg f Reviewed and found that there are separate evaporators, one for the freezer and one for the fridge. Opened up the fridge - the evaporator was cold but the fan was not running and temperature read-out was wrong. Checked out comments on ApplianceParts, ordered the fan motor and sensor. Fixed! Frank G Anaheim , CA September 18, 2017 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RS267LASH/XAA-0000 My Samsung refrigerator had a flashing temperature display and the refrigerator wasn't cooling. Cleaned air vents under refrigerator, vacuumed out evaporators and blew out dust from the compressor compartment, let defrost for most of the day. Plugged it back in and it worked, for about a week, then did the same thing. Ordered and replaced both the defrost sensor and the temperature sensor for the refrigerator side. The entire bottom half of the evaporator was a block of ice. I used a heat gun to melt all of the ice, and then re-assembled refrigerator. Now I'm waiting to see if that fixed the problem. Bob R Fair Oaks Ranch , TX March 25, 2017 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG RS267LABP/XAA Refrigerator section only cooling to 50 degrees freezer section ok First thought it was the fan because it was making a noise so replaced it. Removing the inside covers showed coils all frozen so decided the "defrost sensor" must be bad. Since AppliancePartsPro has no problem with returns, I also ordered the main board.....that would be the only other possibility. Turns out the "defrost sensor" was the problem. During the first 24 hours when things were getting back in sync, we had some water come out on the floor during the first defrost cycle, so I recommend placing a towel in the lower section of the refrigerator for the first 24 hours. The original fan noise was apparently due to the ice build up & not a bad fan. I'm keeping the fan rather than putting the original back. Still saved at least $250, & good support from AppliancePartssPros.. Their coil cleaning brush works really well too.
