Turn power off. Always verify power is off by using a voltage meter or seeing if burners don't come on. Underneath cook top remove all screw that is holding cook top to counter. Lift cook top out. (If cook top does not lift out, I used a utility knife underneath side and front edges of cook top, avoid scratching counter top). Unscrew screws holding cook top to base, lift top off, replace with new top. Screw new cook top to base. Check seal around cook top and counter top, mine had a thin rubber gasket. Place cook top back. Use a tape measure to align cook top straight with counter top. Tie down cook top to counter top, do not over tighten. If you had to disconnect power, reconnect power, turn power back on.
