I'm so excited that I got to do this all by myself. I had to remove the back cover from the dryer, remove the old timer and replace it with the new one. The knob had broken and I had been using pliers to operate the dryer. I thought I could do that until I got a new knob. Bad idea! This damaged the timer causing me to have to get a new one.
