Ge WE01X20380 Control Knob OEM Part

I would remove the knobs from the other switches to replace the timer one when it would break until all the knobs were broken. My wife kept blaming me for being a brute but i swear i was gentle when turning the knob. i ordered all new ones and guess what...the new knobs are reinforced with a metal ring to keep the plastic from splitting. guess it wasn't shear brute strength after all and just a inferior part..

Wow, wow, wow!!! I ordered the part from here and the very next day it was on my doorstep!! Amazing work, Appliance Parts Pros! I was so worried about doing my laundry because without the knob my husband attached a make shift wrench to the metal knob, in order for me to keep using it, while awaiting the part. The wrench was turning the lever so that I could dry the clothes, but it was also stripping the plastic piece. I hope these last longer than one year. This could be a costly repair job. It is easy to install. My husband just push them on - that was that. I was real disappointed that the control knob assemblies do not last more than 2 years My old Magtag dryer the knobs never broken until it I retired it for a new dryer. My old dryer was having other problems. It was 10 years old.
