This dryer is roughly 40 years old and started life as a coin operated dryer. I got it in 2001 and have not had to do anything till this month. These parts were not the problem but I changed them. The idler arm sleeve was a little thick. I sanded it down thinner. The idler pulley arm I bought to check sizes or holes. To check for wear. There wasn't any.The belt I changed as it was just starting to fray. The blower fan was making most if not all the noise. It was cracked and the hole in the middle was worn oblong an made it wobble a bit.
