Michael A Jasper , GA August 12, 2022 Appliance: Model VIKING VGSU 1024 Viking cooktop spark module would not work on one burner. Purchased replacement spark module. The module is located under the cooktop so had to replace by squeezing under the cabinet to get access. There is a metal plate that covers the module that needed to be removed-four screws. Unplugged the AC to the cooktop and unscrewed the module from the cooktop. Then, one connection at a time, I removed each wired push on connected to new module. After connecting all wires I reattached the module to the cooktop. Amazingly it now works just fine. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
