How to replace Compressor Starting Device Kit. I unplugged the unit, removed the back cardboard panel and replaced the compressor starting device, and also the capacitor. Plugged the unit back in and the compressor came on and immediately began cooling. I was so happy (proud of myself) for diagnosing the problem and fixing the unit.
