This deflector directs and channels cold air inside the compartment to help maintain even temperatures and reduce frost buildup. It restores designed airflow for more consistent cooling and proper freezer/refrigerator performance. What it does:

  • Channels cold air from the evaporator into the compartment to promote even cooling distribution
  • Helps prevent localized frost or ice buildup by guiding airflow away from sensitive areas
  • Reduces temperature variation between shelves and drawers when functioning correctly
  • Useful if the original deflector is cracked, broken, or missing and airflow is disrupted
