This replacement part is a cooling fan intended for use with generators. It regulates the temperature inside the generator, preventing shutdown from overheating.A new cooling fan might be needed if the current one is not running while the machine is on. Fans can experience a variety of problems, from connections coming loose to bearings wearing out. If the temperature of the engine is not being regulated during use, the fan might be to blame.
