G R Snohomish , WA October 03, 2016 Appliance: Electrolux Refrigerator EW28BS70IS1 My 7 year old electrolux refrigerator's power would turn off and on intermittently until finally it just staid off I searched the internet for people who had the same symptoms and looked at what they replaced to fix the issue. Turned out I needed to replace the board-switch, which I ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com. It came very quickly. I also watched a YouTube video that showed a couple of tricks to easily remove the part from underneath the refrigerator. It only took me a few minutes to remove, and then only a few minutes to re-install the new part. It's been 5 days now and everything seems to be working as it is supposed to. Read More... Nelson A Pleasantville , NJ January 12, 2016 Replace a power supply on a electrolux frigidaire This project was fairly easy. All I had to do was unplug my refrigerator and remove the power supply unit located at the bottom of the refrigerator and replace it with the new one. Installation was easy. First you remove one screw to access the tray which you then pull out and remove 3 plugs connected in the back. The new replacement power unit comes with its wire harness and after you plug in the proper plugs into the power unit inself, the remaining 3 plugs will plug in to the refrigerator. Then all you have to do is slide the tray back in, screw it in back in place and power it back up. Project took me all but 20 minutes to complete. Read More... Scott S Nikiski , AK February 23, 2015 Electrolux refrigerator would stop working when the doors were opened It was a possibility that the door switch in the freezer was causing the problem or the main power board. I started with the least expensive part first. The door switch didn't solve the problem so I ordered the main power board. The install was pretty simple and seems to have fixed the problem. The refrigerator has been working great so far. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
