Doug T San Jose , CA August 25, 2014 Appliance: Electrolux Refrigerator EW26SS65GS0 Electrolux "ce" code This is a communication error between the user interface on frezzer door and main control board under the refrigerator. From this site I gathered that either one was likely cause but probably the main board. SO I ordered the main board. Of course it happened over a weekend so on Monday morning I ordered the board and received it ahead of expectation on Tuesday morning. Fantastic service! Main board is hard to get out thru the gap in the panel behind kickplate because the original cables are not long enough. So all cables and harness have to be disconnected with board halfway out. The kit I received had not only the board already in its housing tray but had a set of jumper cables so that the connections onto the board were made with the new board out of the refrigerator. This allowed the connections to be easily made by plugging in the jumpers to the old cables and then putting in the main board. Probably took 45 mins to do this part. However the overall time was a lot longer because the amount of accumulated dirt under the unit and behind. Cleaning up was by far harder than the install. Again, marvellous service and great kit. Ron E Washougal , WA July 20, 2014 Ce error had to unplug every time to reset the error on my electrolux refrigerator Went on different blogs and found similar issues I was having. Replacing the main board was the issue. Main board came in the mail after 4 days. Instruction was clear. Had to tip the refrigerator enough to get access to it since it was located at the left bottom. I got creative by putting my 10 lb exercise ball to prop it up. Undo a couple of screws, unplug to the old and plug to the new. Very simple install. My husband contacted customer service and they helped him find the correct part and we had it the next day. The second control panel seems to be working great! We put the front of the refrigerator on 2x4 ' s to lift it up enough to unscrew the old control panel.
