I googled the problem and found help from other people's story's and then order the part that solved there problem. We were on vacation when my neighbor told us the refrigerator had quit running. So I ordered the part, while away from home, not knowing for sure if the part I ordered would work. I tilted the refrig back an placed 2 2x4's under each front leg. The location of the board switch is left front under the refrig. I removed the old board switch and hooked up the replacement board switch following the included instructions that came with the new board switch. Took about 1/2 hour. Tilting the refrigerator back and having room under the refrig to work really helped. The only tools I used was a 1/4" nut driver.
