Thomas D Mineral , VA December 04, 2015 The drum belt was cracking and making noise I noticed the belt was worn from a prior repair so I ordered one and it showed up a a few days later. Having already been into the dryer once, removal of the front panel was quick. Using a long wooden dowel gave me plenty of leverage against the spring loaded adjuster pulley. I had the belt changed in less than 5 minutes. Total time from start to finish was about 20 minutes. (This is also a great time to clean and vacuum out any lint). Then re-installed the front panel! Instead buying a new dryer I thought, parts where $60, looks easy, why not DiY. Went to their website and ordered the parts. The parts arrived in 2days with normal shipping as advertised! 1hr later she's working and quite, no vibrations as if new! If I had to repair it again, I could easily fix in less than 15 minutes, aside from letting adhesive dry. Steven V Bradenton , FL August 15, 2016 Loud "squeaking" noise when drum was turning Installed new rear drum bearing kit. Called APP to confirm that the kit would fit my dryer model. Ordered on a Wednesday afternoon and received the part the next day by 5pm! Watched the instructional video that pertained to changing out the part supplied on APP.com and had the fix done in less than an hour!!! Great service and super helpful video. Read More...
