Peter M Salt Lake City , UT March 04, 2022 Appliance: Frigidaire Gas Range FFGF3054TSA Blown oven igniter went "poof!" with smoke at end of bake So initial thought was bad bake igniter. I'bve replaced this before so I replaced it again and it wouldn't glow. Checked broil igniter and same thing, no glow. Checked voltage at molex connector for bake igniter and it went from 6.6v to 3.4v when triggered to glow -- well below the 120v expected. Ordered new clock/controller and overlay -- it shipped the next business day! Removed a handful of screws from the back panel to expose the clock/controller and removed/ replaced it with new parts. Oven back in place and the both igniters glow! Super easy way to impress my wife and save some $$ , not to mention the time of waiting for an appliance repair person to come out and diag with a presumed week's wait for new part install.
