Linda R La Jolla , CA November 30, 2014 Appliance: Model FRIDGIDAIRE The dryer did not heat! My appliance repair guy checked out the problem, but the stack washer dryer required the contractor to dismantle the cabinet to allow the repair to occur. So i wanted the parts available for the repair, so we would not have to have the dryer pulled apart in a small space for an extended time i ordered the parts on Friday afternoon and they arrived at my home before noon on Saturday! The contractor and the repairman were able to coordinate the repair on Tuesday morning, and though the electric dryer heating element was the problem, we decided to change out 2 other items, while the dryer was disassembled. Now we keep our fingers crossed that the dryer will last a few more years. Thank you for your expedient and knowing phone operators. Andy H Sturgeon Bay , WI April 26, 2014 Heat element went out in dryer I got help from a YouTube video. The best part was I need the part right away. So we called our local appliance place. He said they had one. Great I thought until they told me the price. It was more than double what I paid for it here at appliancepartspros.com!! The best thing is it was here in the mail the next day! And that was just regular 3-4 business day mail. Project went smooth and stress free because of video but the price and getting it fast had a lot to do with it as well. Thanks! Joe N Greenfield , IN January 06, 2015 I had a worn rear drum bearing and a broken heating element This was an easy fix. I ordered parts and they arrived two days before I expected them. The installation went smoothly and the dryer is working better than ever. It cost me less than a hundred bucks for the repairs and saved me the time and expense of waiting for a repairman and / or the cost of a new dryer. Andrew I Cypress , TX November 08, 2016 Appliance: Frigidaire Dryer GLEQ2152ES1 It was not heating Original problem was that our dryer stopped heating. So I took the dryer apart and notice the heating coil was all rusted so I decided to replace the coil and also bought a thermal limiter in case that was the issue. I think it would have been better to buy the entire heating assembly kit as you don't have to worry about stretching the coil correctly as you engage it into the clips. So I installed the new coil and put the dryer back together. Plugged it in and still no heat. Then I happened to notice that the a wire was disconnected near the top of the dryer close to a black plastic housing... A quick trip to Walmart to buy some electrical connectors and crimpers and then its started heating perfectly! Lesson learned - check all wiring before buying parts! At least I know the heating coil should be good for a while. Also I didn't know how long it would take for the heating coil to get hot. After it started working it took less than 15 seconds to start glowing red hot. Good fyi.
