Bryan K Aubrey , TX November 29, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Freezer FFU20FC4AW0 Deep freezer was tripping gfci outlet every day I determined that it was a problem that occurred during the defrost cycle by resetting the GFCI outlet and forwarding the defrost timer until the defroster came on. Once the defrosting began, the GFCI outlet would reliably trip. I took apart the shielding inside of the freezer and tested the defrosting without the heating element or the thermostat connected. Since that looked good, I tested for proper functionality of the thermostat by removing it, placing it in a working freezer, and checking for continuity when cold and no continuity when at room temperature. Since that looked good, I assumed the problem was with the heating element. Upon replacing the heating element, it ran well. Replacing the handle and installing the feet took little effort. Joseph C Albuquerque , NM July 28, 2018 Fan was making loud noises when it was running and it was not cooling right I looked on line and found appliance parts pros, put in the model number and it gave me a choice for what I was looking for. It was very self explanatory. I pick the fan I needed and decided to pair other parts with it and just replace them since I was already knee deep into this project. I replaced what I could plugged in the refrigerator and no more noises it was running excellent. Thank you parts pros, if it was not for you I would have spent a lot more money for the repair man.
