John W Sicklerville , NJ July 14, 2017 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE 1200 Standing water in the bottom of dishwasher after the load was finished. I very seldom respond to requests for feedback like this but definitely feel moved to do so in this case. When our 8 year old dishwasher started acting up my initial reaction was to simply replace it. I wasn't sure what was wrong, nor if I would be able to find the right part once I did figure out the problem. The troubleshooting advice on this website was spot on and I quickly figured out what needed to be replaced. The repair videos were easy to follow and the parts were here two days after I ordered them, even though I just paid for the standard shipping. I even fixed a small tub gasket leak that I didn't know I had. This required new parts as well, and they too arrived within a couple days of ordering them. Once again the videos made a simple repair even simpler. I will definitely use this website again and will recommend it to any of my friends who are about to take on an appliance repair project. Nicholas J Temple , TX October 02, 2021 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher FFBD2406NB0A The pump was dead. The flapper valve was severely damaged and drain hose was full of gunk. So my dishwasher died, I'm fairly mechanically inclined so I began diagnosing it and my first suspicion was that the pump died, so I started looking around to see if I could find parts for this model. I found this site, and I must say I absolutely love how the site is set up, they took my diagnoses of "water won't drain" and of course suggested the pump, but then also suggested the hose and flapper valve as possible points of failure, now I knew the hose was totally clogged as I was able to get water from one end to the other, but a flapper valve? Never even heard of it. I figured if I'm gonna be pulling it out and repairing id rather have everything I need all in one go so I ordered the parts, and they arrived 4 days earlier than the site projected so kudos to the shipping there. I pulled the dishwasher out and began examining all the parts and it was just like the videos showed, and just as easy to replace everything, and if the site hadn't suggested other parts. I would have had multiple problems, turns out my pump WAS dead, but the flapper valve was also twisted and distorted and the hose was caked full of crud, not clogged.. yet... but not too far from it, so by the site suggesting other possibilities they helped me avert other problems down the line add to that the super helpful walkthrough videos they offered and this site is fantastic!!
