Frigidaire A00126401 Dishwasher Drain Pump Assembly OEM Part

Step 1. Turn off water and power to dishwasher. Ours does not have any easy plug under the sink, so this was our first red flag that this was going to be complicated. Step 2. Unscrew dishwasher from cabinet brackets. 3. Dismantle the hardwired box underneath-2 wires, 1 ground. Step 3. Dishwasher would not come out of the cabinet far enough to remove. Step 4. Have a good cry because it's been over an hour now and the directions said this would be easy. Step 5. Use a wrench to detach the water input hose. Curse several times because the wrench space allows for about 5degrees of rotation. Step 6. Pull cabinet out completely and turn on side. Thank YouTube for its helpful videos because otherwise, I am an idiot. Step 7. Replace the drain pump motor piece with a few screws and rewiring fixes. Make sure you don't have any of the correct weird star-shaped screwdrivers to match. Step 8. Turn dishwasher upright and reattach intake hose. Step 9. Stop and pray to Jesus that all your efforts worked and this won't leak. Steo 10. Turn all the water and let back on and run a rinse test cycle. Step 11. It leaks. Step 12. Turn off water and let again. Consider just moving out burning the house down because your in the 3rd hr of repairing this stupid thing and could have washed all the dishes by hsnd by now. Step 12. Detach the water intake hose again, clean the washer, and cross your fingers because you have no idea what size washer you'd need to replace this. Step 13. Repeat all the sheninangans down in the basement. Run another test cycle with something under to detect leaks. Step whatever your on now... No leaks!!! Praise Jesus! Reassemble tbe bottom rack and reattsch to cabinet. Run dishes to see if they get clean. Finish the "easy" project in just under 6 hrs with two people and divine help, then treat yourself to a steak dinner or order pizza and eat off paper plates. The part worked awesome... the rest was a 55 on a scale of 1/10 difficulty.

After inspecting screen and drain hose with no obvious cause, replaced drain pump. Removal of the pump was very straight forward. 3 screws, 2 electric connections, and 1 hose clamp was all that was needed.

We ordered the pump assembly from you guys. And replaced the one on our dishwasher. It was super easy and has worked just fine since...my husband actually let me replace the assembly so that I would know how to do it. I

After seeing that the problem was either the pump or circuit board, I watched the appliance pro video on how to fix the problem. It looked easy enough so I ordered the pump. It was here in 2 days. Oh, and I had called the parts department to make sure I ordered the correct one, very nice customer service. Well the video was correct, it took 5 minutes to replace the pump, unfortunately it took 2 hours to get the dishwasher out of the cabinet! No fault of Appliance Pro, but when the plumber put it in originally, he put the water value in backwards, then we had to disconnect the electricity and drain hose all in about 2 inches of space! After installing the pump and another 1 hour of reconnection, we tested...........still wouldn't drain!!! Went back and started at the beginning. Read blog and looked at video again. There was a little blurt about disconnecting the drain hose and running a cycle. Tried that and low and behold......drained perfectly! Crawled under the house and there it was....a clogged drain hose! Snaked it out and works perfectly!!! My advice? Do the easy stuff first, it's usually something simple!

Ordered a new pump which came within one day, installed this and now dishwasher is working fine. Great service on the part delivery!
