William B Jersey Village , TX May 21, 2021 Appliance: Model FGMV173KBA17 The circuit breaker supplying this microwave oven tripped when the door was opened replacing the interlock switches and switch holder did not correct it I replaced the latch hook in the door thinking it might be worn down and might be opening the switches in the wrong order. Mark K Tulsa , OK April 10, 2020 Appliance: Model FMV176NTF Microwave trips the house circuit breaker if you open the door. Started intermittently then constantly. Replaced the door latch hook assembly on microwave right side which also holds the door switches. I also replaced the door hook assembly on the actual door since it is prone to wear per your website. I've opened and closed the microwave door multiple times after the repair with it running and no more tripped circuit breakers! Seems to work great! Read More...
