Merrick B Vancouver , WA November 10, 2020 Appliance: Electrolux Dishwasher EIDW6105GS1A Dishes in upper rack not getting cleaned. Electrolux eidw6105gs1 Problem was a failure of the delivery tubing assembly, part #154515602, or part #32 on the Motor and Pump Components parts diagram. There are three water ports on this piece. This accommodates multiple positions of the upper rack while still feeding water to the middle sprayer arm. There is a check valve over the three ports to cover the two not in use. The housing of these ports had eroded such that the check valves no longer sealed thus reducing water pressure to the middle and upper sprayer arms. Replacing this part fixed the problem. I also replaced the upper sprayer arm. It was clogged with detergent gunk. Was easier to replace it than clean it. It was easy to replace these parts. That said these parts are way overpriced. Also annoying is that Frigidaire makes you purchase the entire delivery tube instead of just the check valve cover which is the only part that decayed. Lastly they should make this part from stauncher materials than the ABS plastic they use. It would be much more durable. This looks like a case of planned obsolescence, albeit I did get 6 yrs of service before having to replace this part. Be careful when removing the coarse filter assembly. There are very sharp edges you can easily cut yourself on. Get a technical service manual - available free online if you search - to see all the screws that need to be removed to effect this repair. Brian D Colorado Springs , CO May 07, 2018 Appliance: Model ELECTROLUX EIDW6105GS1A Electrolux top shelf not cleaning I removed the filter and cleaned out the bottom of the dishwasher. It was obvious that some of the plastic had deteriorated and the tubing assembly was not getting water to the top 2 spray arms. The tubing assembly was no longer sealed where the upper drawer connected at the 3 available heights. Replacing that and the top spray arm that looked to be clogged did the trick. Also, make sure your drain is clear! We had a lot of crud in the drain under the sink and after a gross cleaning session, the dishwasher does not sound like the pump is straining to drain water. Big improvement. Read More... 6 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Screwdrivers
