Beth C Atkinson , NH March 27, 2018 Appliance: Frigidaire Wall Oven FPEW2785KFB After self clean cycle oven heated very slowly and never got to temp Online chat here said that the oven sensor should be replaced. I got the feeling that was a bit off, so I went with my gut and ordered the thermostat as well. Replaced the sensor and that didn't fix it. Replaced the thermostat and it worked like a charm! Disappointed that they were overconfident in their answer and it would have taken me more days to fix - but, the products came in quickly (basically, next day) and were correct. Online video for my particular oven was incorrect - but it's an easy fix if you're comfortable pulling a wall oven out (onto sawhorses) and taking the back cover off. Shannon M Boerne , TX May 05, 2020 Appliance: Frigidaire Wall Oven FGEW3065PFE Oven would not heat evenly Replaced control board and sensor. This is a wall oven. I did not want to pull it in & out, so I replace both at the same time. I checked the terminal block & it was OK. The oven is working great now. PS: One tricky thing, on the control board, one connector does not have a plug. You have a ribbon that you have to slip in & out for this connector. David F Rutledge , GA April 18, 2020 Run away temp on lower oven (f10 error code) Replace relay board. This part wasn’t too difficult, remove doors, racks, and 2 mounting screws on the sides. Then slide the unit out until you can access the top panel. Remove the 5 screws on the panel and then the panel. Unplug the board, remove 2 screws and release the clips holding the board board. The oven is 6 years old and the new part is a newer revision than the old part so it should last longer. The hard job was replacing the temp probe in the lower oven. The wire isn’t long enough to unplug from inside the oven so the entire unit must slide out to access the rear panel. Once’s the panel is removed it is easy to unplug the old and plug in the new probe. Carla P New Milford , CT December 17, 2020 The oven wasn’t heating up all the way I looked it up on line to see what it could be and I ordered a temperature sensor. There are also videos online that show you how to install the temperature sensor. The hardest part was actually moving the stove and unscrewing the back piece. The temp sensor just needed to be unhooked and to remove two screws, switched the piece out within 5 minutes, hooked it up and placed the back panel. I tried the oven and it worked! Saved money and was fairly simple to install. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
