Frigidaire 5304409888 Range Terminal Block Kit OEM Part

We replaced the broken Terminal Block but have not yet replaced the Control Panel. Will purchase that part from you shortly.

Purchased new terminal block and power cord from AppliancePartsPros.com and was able to replace the block and power cord which were both fried! I didn't think to get new terminal connectors, which had melted into part of the old terminal block, so I suggest you check out the back of your range first and make sure you don't need new connectors as well. I was actually looking for a new range to purchase because I thought it was unrepairable, but it was an easy fix and my cooktop and oven are both working great!

Purchased a new power cord and distribution block

Checked 220 volt input. Found one wire off of terminal ( L1 ) and the other two wires loose. Evidently, they weren't tightened properly during installation. The loose connections caused high heat at the terminals, which made the block burnt and brittle. Ordered new block by model number, installed it after cleaning terminals, and all is well.

Replaced control board and sensor. This is a wall oven. I did not want to pull it in & out, so I replace both at the same time. I checked the terminal block & it was OK. The oven is working great now. PS: One tricky thing, on the control board, one connector does not have a plug. You have a ribbon that you have to slip in & out for this connector.
