Beth C Atkinson , NH March 27, 2018 Appliance: Frigidaire Wall Oven FPEW2785KFB After self clean cycle oven heated very slowly and never got to temp Online chat here said that the oven sensor should be replaced. I got the feeling that was a bit off, so I went with my gut and ordered the thermostat as well. Replaced the sensor and that didn't fix it. Replaced the thermostat and it worked like a charm! Disappointed that they were overconfident in their answer and it would have taken me more days to fix - but, the products came in quickly (basically, next day) and were correct. Online video for my particular oven was incorrect - but it's an easy fix if you're comfortable pulling a wall oven out (onto sawhorses) and taking the back cover off. William T Bahama , NC June 17, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Electric Range FGES3065KFC He light stayed lit for left front burner and cooling fan ran continuously for about a week It fixed itself. I purchased the thermostat and it arrived 2 days later. Before I had a chance to put it in we baked something on the convection setting. After the oven cooled, the HE light on the burner went out and the cooling fan stopped for the first time in about a week. That was about a week ago. I've used the burner since and everything is still working fine. After the stove cools, the light goes out and the cooling fan stops as normal. Before that I tried to get the HE light and cooling fan to go off by turning off power to the stove for a while and then by using the burner. Neither helped - the cooling fan just kept running and the HE light stayed on. Read More... 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
Christi G Arkansas City , KS October 23, 2015 Appliance: Model ELECTROLUX EW30EW55G It quit heating after self cleaning We pulled oven from the wall looking for a switch to reset, according to what we had seen on utube, we could not find anything that looked similar, figuring we had nothing to loose we looked on top of the oven and found exactly what they showed on utube. We tested the part with ohm meter for continuity and it was not working. Not knowing if this was our only problem or not we ordered part based on part # on the part. It came in 2 days! We put it in and yes it worked. Figured we saved at least 200.00 plus. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Screwdrivers
