How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3890378 / 316436000 Range Surface Element Switch

I had to shut the breaker off first. I was looking on the Parts Pro site and it looked as though other people were having my exact problem. I ordered two surface switches but note: they look the same but go by the wattage numbers on the side of the switches. Small burner is 1250-1500w verses large burner 2100-2600.You will see by the video they are easy to change. The new switches are larger and the connections will be in different locations. Unscrew the front screws to move the ole switch with wires still attached. Install new switch then remove one wire off at a time 

I went on your website and opened the live chat, then I the attendant answered all my questions and even went through the check out process. It was a very pleasant experience. I received the parts two days later and installed them. My stove is working like new. I saved a considerable amount than I would have paid at my local appliance parts store. 

Replaced oven baking element, also replaced surface element switch 

The repair was a success. The switch and came looked different from the original. I called Appliance Parts Pro, they lady on the phone said that Frigidaire changed the switch and how to wire it up correctly. Problem solved. It all works as it should. 

Isolated the issue to the switch by swapping the heating elements, then identified the model number using the app on appliancepartpro site (very essential part) then ordered the part which was here in about 2 days, replacing it was a walk in the park. 

The temperature was uncontrollable on the burners on the stove. I was able to talk with a technician with Appliance Parts Pros and they talk me through the troubleshooting we determined it was the switches, which I ordered. 

Replaced both element switches and works perfectly now. Thanks to you supplying the parts and providing the video on how to change them. The video was so helpful since I was not sure what was involved, but it was so easy to switch them out. And it saved me hundreds of dollars in repair or replacement. 

Changed the elements with ones I bought from you. 

Replaced all the surface element switches, elements (burners) and drip pans. Also removed door, took apart and cleaned glass window. Looks and works like new.
